For Teachers Only:
- "On a Roll" Teacher dates: Please continue to pump up and talk about the "On a Roll" celebration! Dec 2nd is the deadline for student retakes (for retakes to "count" toward "on a roll" celebration). Dec 7th Advisory grade checks will be used as the tool to determine if students reached the celebration eligibility of 3's/4's on all summative assessments. If students are eligible, teachers will mark the students accordingly on a provided list, which needs to be returned to Silas end of day Dec 7th.
Holiday Par-tay: Save the date! Dec 12th, 3:30, Hunt’s house-get your RSVP in!
Brain Book: Remember!!! We have our book talk DEC 9th after school.
6th Celebration: The next celebration is 12/11.
Trash Clean-Up: 12/8-Thao & KAM; 12/9-Asher & Cassidy; 12/9-Berry, Ounkeo & Pagan.
Report Cards: Please be prepared to meet as a department each prep this week - to learn more about report card entry and to finish up report cards. Anticipate time needed for corrections, questions and fixes.

- Help Wanted!: NP3 is looking for a responsible adult to help with our afterschool A.C.E program on Thursday afternoons. The position pays $15/hr and would run the entire school year. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Kons at nkons@natomas.k12.ca.us for more information.
You’re “On A Roll" to Honor Roll: Semester 1 academic celebration hosted by student government. Students with 3s and 4s on all summative assessments will be rewarded with an Academic Celebration that will consist of food, drinks, music, and some fun activities. The party is free to those who are invited. The “On a Roll” academic celebration will be held on Friday December 11th in the gym from 3:00-4:00 pm. There is a late bus at 4:15. Note: the last day for students to complete retakes for academic celebration entry is Wednesday December 2nd. Therefore planning ahead is necessary if retakes are needed.
Giving Tree: NP3 MS is participating in the Kylee Lillich Charitable Giving Tree. This tree supports local students and families that are in need and live in the Natomas and surrounding areas. The Tree is in the front office and you can grab an ornament or as many as you want. All donations must be turned in to Mrs, Edwards by Friday 12/11.
Science Camp Fundraiser: Go to Natomas Chipotle to get your dinner Wednesday Dec 16th from 4:30pm-8:30pm and mention NP3! A portion of the proceeds will go to Science Camp.
NP3 High Fun Fact: NP3 HS will be having finals next week because their schedule is modeled after colleges. We like to prepare our students for college in every way possible.
Yearbook Announcements: Yearbook prices until December 31st are $22 for soft cover and $27 for a hard cover. Prices go up in January!
Winter Grams: Student Government is selling winter grams to raise money. Grams will be sold at lunch Dec 8th-10th.

Booster Meeting: The next one is 12/14! There are always snacks!
Conference Week and Minimum Days: Dec 14-18 is conference week. Please make sure to schedule one with your student’s Advisor.
Winter Break: NP3 is on Winter break December 23-January 1.
PSAT-8th only: Our counseling department is seeking info on interest that our current 8th grade class would have in taking the PSAT. We have the opportunity to administer the test in February and need to know how many families would be interested in having their student participate. If you are interested please email your student’s counselor to let the know. Students with last names A-L email: tedwards@natomask.k12.ca.us and students with last names M-Z email: aparr@natomas.k12.ca.us.
Minimum Day: Please note there is a minimum day when we return from break Monday Jan 4.
