Happy Mother's Day!
Celebrating Moms in Our School Community!
Dear Moms of Mill Hill,
Happy Mother’s Day! I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible moms in our school community. Your love, dedication, and support are truly remarkable, and I am honored to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you.
Your unwavering commitment to your children’s success is evident every day. Whether it’s volunteering, fundraising, or offering a comforting smile, your contributions create a nurturing environment for our students to thrive.
On this special occasion, reflect on the profound impact you have made as a mother. Celebrate the love, strength, and resilience that define your role. You deserve to be celebrated not just today but every day for the remarkable individuals you are.
May this Mother’s Day be filled with warmth, love, and cherished moments. You are the heart and soul of our school community, and we are truly blessed to have you.
With deepest admiration and appreciation,
On Monday, May 1st – Kimberly Behre Kenna came to speak to our grade 3-5 students in the afternoon in the APR. She is a fairly new author. She lives in CT and was formerly a grade 5 teacher.
Here is her website with more information.
She has written 2 middle grade books in what she calls her Brave Girl Collection.
On Wednesday, May 3rd Susan Verde visited our K-2 students in the APR. I have been reading or will read some of her books to our K,1 and 2 students during LLT time.
Susan is a New York Times Best Selling Author and many of her books demonstrate the importance of being a mindful human.
Here is a link to her Website as well.
Thank you for these presentations made possible by our PTA!
