1.What is the most important belief in this religion?

The most important belief in Sikhism is that everyone is equal. That includes men and women.

2.Why do they believe that?

They believe this because they believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was sent by God to create world peace. Also because they say men come out of women and women out of women. Also kings that come out of women. So they believe that why say women are sent by the devil if without women there would no one on Earth.

3.In your opinion, what makes the believers of this religions want to follow its teachings or the teachings of its prophets?

I think that people would like to follow this religion because it sounds really peaceful. Also because in this religion everyone is equal, and even people from different races were considered the same.

4. How do extremists in this religion justify their actions against nonbelievers?

They send letters using offensive and agressive language to the people that are either against or just simply non beleivers. They dont really go that extreme on non beleivers because one of their most important beleives is that everyone is equal no matter what race or what sex.

5. Read about a current event that is relevant to the religion and try to explain the event from the perspective or viewpoint of its followers. What are the consequences of this event on its believers or the world?

Indian government has blocked release of film Kaum De Necce wich dramatizes 1984 assassination of prime min India ghandi on grounds that it could initiate religious tensions.Ghandi was killed by two of her own body guards who were SSikh and assassination was followed by nots throughout India in wich thousands of Sikhs were killed.

6. Use art or an artifact that represents the religion and explain why it is important, when it was created and who created it.

The word 'Guru' in Sanskrit means teacher, honoured person, religious person or saint. Sikhism though has a very specific definition of the word 'Guru'. It means the descent of divine guidance to mankind provided through ten Enlightened Masters. It is important because it shows the 10 founders of Sikhism.S. Sobha Singh was the creator of the guru.It did not tell me when it was created.

7.What is a Sikh song?

No power to speak, no power to keep silent. No power to beg,
no power to give. No power to live, no power to die. No power
to rule with wealth and occult mental powers. No power to gain
intuitive understanding. No power to contemplate spiritual wisdom.
No power to find the way to escape from the world. He alone
has the Power in His hands, He watches over all.
O Nanak, no one is high or low.

"This pauree destroys your ego and brings home your divinity.
It removes negativity, neutralizes your destructive nature
and prevents harm to others by your hand."
Psyche of the Golden Shield

"Whosoever chants the 33rd Pauri of Japji Sahib 25 times a day,
there is nothing on Earth he will not have. Guru Nanak sang this
pauri as a sampuran kriya, a perfect, perfect seal. This pauri means
that if you ask for nothing, you will get everything -- that is the law.
Whosoever chants this pauri 25 times a day, there is nothing on Earth
that he or she will not have. Ask for nothing, just praise the Lord."
Siri Singh Sahib of Sikh Dharma
