Coding in Action (March 7, 2020)
Thank you to all our organizers, sponsors, coaches, volunteers, and students for an amazing Coding in Action day last weekend. Here is a recap of last weekend's events:
Code.org
Students had to identify a disability, research the disability, and then create an app that would support people with that disability. The points awarded are focused more on the design thinking process, which starts with empathy. Students were encouraged to reach out to people with a specific disability OR contact organizations who supposed the disability to learn more about it.
