TexQuest News
Fall 2020

Hello TexQuestrians!
School has begun and while this school year is unlike any other we've ever had before, what hasn't changed is TexQuest! TexQuest digital resources are ALWAYS available to all students. In this quarterly newsletter you will hear about updates to the digital resources, trainings and more!

TeachingBooks TeachingBooks.net has added some FANTASTIC Virtual Teaching Tools for all educators and librarians. Be sure to check out the Bitmoji libraries, complete book readings, and "Learn from Authors" ideas. You will not be disappointed! | Gale Gale has been working hard to not only keep their educator resources up-to-date, but also add to the already fantastic bank of tools. Visit the Educators Resources link located at the bottom of all resources, then select a topic from either the Teacher or Librarian Tools. Look for the New or Updated icons visible throughout all of their databases to see the changes! | Learning ExpressNEW RESOURCES in LearningExpress/PrepSTEP for High Schools

In addition, they will soon be adding 10 additional controversial issues such as fake news, cryptozoology, and coral reefs. | Britannica Following user feedback, Britannica has redesigned their user interface. Soon you will see a content focused simplified design with improved mobile device usability. As if Britannica wasn't already awesome, they have made it even better! Be sure to check out the upgrade! | Learn360 Did you know, educators/librarians can create classes within Learn360? A class code can then be shared with students, or classes can be imported from Google Classroom. Quizzes, videos, interactives and more can then be assigned to students and a report with grades is emailed to the assigning teacher. |
