Description
Phasmids are insects that are spiky and they have six legs and two antennae. Females can grow up to 12 cm and males are smaller. Female phasmids have wings.
Habitat
Phasmids live on Lord Howe Island and in Queensland.They live on Lord Howe Island and Queensland because it is warm. They live in eucalyptus trees.
Food
Phasmids eat Eucalyptus leaves and they drink water. Some phasmids eat the leaves from bramble, oak or apples tree.
Movement
Phasmids move slowly and they move by wriggling. They can sway upside down. They don't move that much during the day.
