Library Garden Storywalk

At the Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library

A Holiday Event for Our Younger Patrons and Their Families.

A Storywalk® is a unique and delightful way to enjoy reading a story...outdoors! Drop by the library on Friday, December 11th between 4 and 6 and stroll through our garden while you read the story of Red & Lulu. Librarians will be on hand at the official Holiday "Party Door" to pass out hot cocoa and gift bags and to wish your family a happy season. Don't worry if you can't make it to the event. Come by anytime in December to walk through the garden and to pick up a gift bag while supplies last.

The Story of Red & Lulu

Red and Lulu make their nest in a particularly beautiful evergreen tree. It shades them in the hot months and keeps them cozy in the cold months. But one day, something unthinkable happens, and Red and Lulu are separated. It will take a miracle for them to find each other again. Enjoy this heart-tugging story by Matt Tavares that highlights the real meaning of the holiday season: how important it is to be surrounded by love.
