PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of November 6, 2023
Dear ISAAC Families,
We hope this message finds you well. We have some important updates and reminders for the coming week.
PTO Meeting:
We invite you to join us for our PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) meeting this Tuesday, November 7th @ 6:00 pm via ZOOM PTO MEETING LINK. Your participation is invaluable to the ISAAC community, and we would greatly appreciate your input and support. Please consider attending to be part of our Dragon Family's growth and success.
Winter Sports Signups:
If your child is interested in participating in winter sports, signups are now open. It's a fantastic opportunity for them to engage in athletic activities, build teamwork, and have fun. Don't miss the chance to be a part of our winter sports teams.
School Schedule Reminder:
We'd like to remind you that there is no school on Tuesday, but classes will be in session on Friday. Please make the necessary arrangements to accommodate this schedule change.
Observed Veterans Day:
As we approach November 11th, Veterans Day, we want to inform you that ISAAC will have school on the observed Veterans Day, November 10th. We encourage all students to attend school on this day to honor and pay our respects to the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces.
2nd Annual ISAAC Thanksgiving Drive:
Each grade will compete for a whole grade prize in support to help donate a complete Thanksgiving Meal kit for families in need. Please see details below.

ISAAC Middle School Announces 2023-2024 Student Council Members
New London, CT - The ISAAC Middle School is excited to introduce the talented young leaders who will be representing their fellow students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The recently formed Student Council promises to be a platform for positive change, student advocacy, and a reflection of the diverse voices within the school community.
The selection process was no easy task, as numerous students expressed their interest by sending heartfelt letters, outlining their commitment and vision for the school. The Student Council Committee diligently reviewed these applications and, after careful consideration, made their recommendations.
We are proud to introduce the nine student council members who will represent the various grades at ISAAC Middle School:
Grade 8:

Grade 7:

Andrea Garcia
Grade 6:

These young leaders are ready to champion the interests and ideas of their peers. Their roles will include organizing events, voicing concerns, and contributing to the overall betterment of ISAAC Middle School. We look forward to witnessing their passion and dedication in action.
In the coming week, these elected student council members will run for specific positions within the student government. This will be an exciting time as they share their visions and ideas with their fellow students, aiming to secure key roles that will guide the school's activities and initiatives.
ISAAC Middle School congratulates these outstanding students on their well-deserved selection and wishes them the best of luck in their upcoming campaigns for elected positions. Their energy, creativity, and leadership are sure to bring positive change to our school community.
As we move forward into the 2023-2024 school year, the ISAAC Middle School Student Council sets a promising example of student engagement, leadership, and collaboration. We look forward to the many positive contributions these young leaders will make during their tenure.

or Olive Oil
8th Grade: Large Turkey Pans, Instant Potatoes, Instant
Stuffing, Dessert Mixes, Canned Carrots
Please bring/send in the items by Friday, November 17th
