2020-21 Updates for The Catholic Community of Flint
FREP Cancelled this Sunday: January 3, 2021
Unfortunately, for the safety and well being of all families due to the increase in cases and precautions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, FREP for January 3rd has been cancelled. Be sure to look further down in this newsletter for directions about how to allow our learning to continue.
The entire FREP Team and Catechists hope despite the celebrations of Christmas this year differently than in the past, being together in your homes was heartwarming, valuable and enjoyable. This weekend, we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany and celebrate the visitation of the Magi to the the Holy Family. For more details about the tradition of Epiphany, CLICK HERE. Further down in this newsletter are some activities and ideas for families to commemorate this important day in The Catholic Church.
For now, plese note on your calendars and schedules the FREP dates posted below. Instructors "kick-off’ each month’s education theme, so it is important that families make every effort to have their children present. The following dates are set for the remainder of the FREP year:

January FREP Theme for Families: THE CHURCH
During the month of January, the theme and focus for students and families at FREP will be "The Church." Instructors are already preparing lessons and inspiring ideas about this very important topic.

We are very fortunate to have parents helping their children with our home-based/parent based program again this month.
