Emperor Penguins

~Facts~
Emperor Penguins are the most largest, tallest, and heaviest penguins of all penguins. These penguins are birds but just can not fly. They live on the Antarctic ice and breed there in harsh winters.The mothers of their eggs go and hunt for food while the husbands stay watch and take/keep warm of the egg, plus since they have those fat and feathers . When the mother returns from their hunting journey the babies chick would had already be hatched and fed by their mother from her mouth. The emperors could dive to 1,850 feet.

These penguins has a rough and spiky tongue which helps them eat any slippery fish, mostly they would eat fishes and squid. They also have feathers and fat to keep them warm from the strong weather. when they are in the water, they tend to hold their breathe for 20 min. long.

These incredible penguins sleep with their head faced down and off to the side, like shown in picture 4. In the water when hunting and playing, emperor penguins glide through the water with great speed and agility. It's their aerodynamic bodies and strong flippers that make them excellent swimmers. When hunting time, they throw down a penguin first to see if the water is safe. And if that penguin does not come back, they will just leave until they found a place that's safe.
