An anatomist studies the form and structure of an animal. They also compare structures from one species to another, determines the abilities of those certain species.
Personal Characteristics Needed
You can't be grossed out easily and you obviously interested in structure. For me I'm really curious as well.

What is the work setting for anatomists?
The work schedule for anatomists are usually very flexible at all times. They work in in clean laboratories and they often spend some time in offices and classrooms as well. As an anatomist you need to be able to work both in teams and by yourself.
Wages and Benifits
What you earn as an anatomist really depends on your education and your experience being one. Being experienced in what you do you can earn up to $90,000 a year, which is pretty good to support yourself off of.

Personal Assessment
A few things that you have to keep in mind is that you have to be willing to work, you need to accept the fact that you won't know everything, and obstacles will come your way. This is a good occupation for me because i am a very hard worker and I love to be challenged in everything that I do.
