Ms. Zebrowski’s and Ms. Moore’s Classes
Ms. Moore's class was studying invasions in their Social Studies unit and how groups invaded areas to get materials that they wanted/needed. My class was learning the purpose of maps, the way different maps are used and how to create maps of their own. Ms. Moore and I connected these two concepts to re-enact pirates invading a classroom and demanding items that they needed. After the pirates took our markers, my class needed to create maps that would successfully lead them to Ms. Moore's classroom. The class used their maps to sneak down to Ms. Moore's class to get the markers back. The students learned in the end that a treaty can be created to give both groups what they want!

Ms. Dolphin and Mrs. Holland Science Day
It was a class celebration the students chose because they worked so hard to fill our class marble jar! The students came up with a variety of class celebrations, but ultimately chose 'Science Experiment Day'. They even went as far as creating a list of different science experiments they would like to try out!
They really enjoyed it! :)

5th Grade - Tiny House Living
Tiny homes are less expensive to build and maintain, provide mobility when built on a trailer and help yield a reduced environmental impact. We created models of tiny houses that were based on living space of under 400 square feet. Surprisingly, we were able to supply our homes with many of the things that we would want and need...even within their small spaces!!!
