HALO HIGHLIGHT - Application FAQs
Dear Saints Parents,
First, I want to thank you for your patience and diligence during our Open Application & Re-enrollment Period for next year. This is a new integrated system we are working with, so there are “growing pains.” As many of you know, we have encountered some issues with FACTS administering incorrect fees during the application process, and we are in constant communication with FACTS to get the errors corrected as soon as possible. I am available for anyone who needs assistance with our online admissions - If you would like one-on-one help, please contact me at hieyoub@slchs.org or 436-7275 Ext. 244. I will be glad to set up an appointment if you wish. Here are some answers to our most frequently asked admissions questions:
1. Why did we choose to go online?
ANSWER: Moving to online registration will create a more comprehensive database and will ultimately become a “one-stop shop” for families to access everything from grades to student records to financial responsibilities.
2. If I currently have a child at SLCHS and will also have an incoming freshman in 2019, do I need to follow two separate processes?
ANSWER: Yes. Please re-enroll your current students through your ParentsWeb account. We have a step-by-step re-enrollment guide available here. All prospective students must apply at this link. Once you have completed the application process and your student has been accepted, we can combine your family on our end.
3. If I can’t pay the full tuition value right now, can my child still apply?
ANSWER: Yes. The only amount that is required to pay upon application is $525. We have flexible payment plans for the remaining tuition & fees that you can discuss with our Director of Finance, Ray Baggett, in order to determine your best payment option. Mr. Baggett can be reached at rbaggett@slchs.org or 436-7275 Ext. 247. Financial aid is also available in the form of scholarships and tuition assistance. If you believe St. Louis Catholic is the right place for your child, please don’t hesitate to apply!
4.Why can't I log into RenWeb?
ANSWER: You may have forgotten your username, password or have used your child’s login information in the past. If you encounter any of these problems, we can easily reset your username and password for you. Simply call Melissa Gueringer in the front office, and she can assist you.
5. Why aren't the buttons on the left turning green?
ANSWER: If the task buttons on the left are not green after you click “save & next” at the bottom of each page, you may have missing information. Please go back and review the page to make sure you have filled in all required information. This is exceptionally important on the last page of the application & registration as your form will not submit.
Thank you for your patience! Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.
For Our Saints,
Heather Ieyoub
Director of Admissions

Transitions Student Loghan Robison Featured in Children's Book
We are very proud of freshman Loghan Robison for having her picture published in the recent book Jeanie the Three-Legged Therapy Dog by author Lydia Crochet. Jeanie only has three legs, but that does not stop her from doing wonderful things such as visiting schools, hospitals and libraries. Crochet brought Jeanie to St. Louis Catholic's Transitions classroom in the fall and read her first book to the class called Jeanie the Three-Legged Dog: I Don't Need Four Feet.
Tech Talk with Melanie LeJeune
Saints Earbuds make great Valentine’s Day gifts! Show your student love by gifting them with something that they certainly will use often. Teachers ask students to keep earbuds in their computer bags for activities in Edpuzzle, Quizizz, etc. You can purchase them in the library or the front office for $5. They come in a nice microfiber bag that can be used to wipe a computer screen. We will use all money raised to purchase new fiction books.
Thank you to Parent Guild!
