Thank you to all the families that attended the informational track meeting. We apologize for any confusion that it may have caused for our West Orient families.
Here are some updates for all of you:
Coaching - we are finalizing our coaching staff at this time. We will have a combination of staff and community members on the coaching list which is a great balance for all!
Track Schedule- you can find the track schedule by following this link. Students are bused to the meets and families are responsible for their transportation home.
Track Gear - you can order optional track gear by completing and returning the form with a check or cash (exact change appreciated). We provide the basic uniforms for all participants. Orders should be turned in by Wednesday, 3/15 to have in time for the first practice! There will be additional orders placed after this date.
Sign Ups - if your student is interested in participating in Spring Track and Field, they need to complete the sign up forms and turn them into the main office. A few reminders for families
- The rainy season has begun. We try our best to have recess outside whenever possible. Please be sure to send your student to school with a jacket or sweatshirt to help keep them warm and dry.
- If your student has medication needs during the school day, an adult is required to bring in the medication in the original container. Students may not transport medication themselves.
- If your student plans to ride home on a different bus, please send a note with your student. The note must be turned in at the front office for approval at the beginning of the day.
- Please make sure your student has money deposited in their lunch account. Free and reduced applications are available online or in our office. Breakfast is free for all students.
- Students are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottle to school each day.
