PAYS Survey Presentation and Wellness Expo

Monday, Oct. 17th, 6pm

375 West Court Street

Doylestown, PA

Get to the heart of adolescence.

Working in cooperation with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, the Central Bucks School District will host a presentation and panel discussion of Central Bucks’ Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) results, as well as community and school-based supports for students and families. The panel will be followed by a wellness expo featuring more than 15 health and wellness vendors, and resource providers.

Gain a deeper understanding of what risks Central Bucks students are taking, as well as their attitudes and knowledge about drugs, alcohol, and violence.

Since 1989, the Commonwealth has conducted an anonymous survey of school students in the 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th grades concerning alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and violence. The “Pennsylvania Youth Survey,” or PAYS, is sponsored and conducted every two years by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.
