It is so exciting to begin a new school year at Telluride Elementary School with all of you! I would like to welcome both returning and new students to TES. We hope that you were able to relax and make special memories with your friends and families this summer. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year- a great adventure in your learning!

Telluride Elementary School is such a special place to learn and grow. We are proud of our beautiful and historic school and have high expectations for each and every student that walks through our doors. Together with our dedicated staff, we will strive to make connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe at school.

Our overarching goal is to encourage active student engagement to foster a lifetime love for learning. The connection between the school and families is crucial for our child(ren)’s success in school. Always remember- we are stronger together! Join the TES staff for the Annual Open House! Check out your child's classroom and drop off their school supplies. The Telluride Education Foundation will be sponsoring an ice cream social on the playground during the open house.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our Miner Bees as we start off a new school year.

TES will be providing lunch this year but I want to remind everyone that it is no longer free for our students. That was a federal program that went away after last year.

Payments for school meals may be made online through the Titan Portal, or via check or cash to the school administrative office. The school cafeteria will not accept cash at the time of check out.

The beginning of the year is the best time to get signed up, even if you don't think your child will eat school lunches.
