Welcome to 2016!

Welcome Back Tiger Students and Parents. We hope you had a lovely and relaxing break. We are looking forward to the 2nd semester here at Tex Hill and can't wait to see all of our student accomplishments.

I would to thank everyone for the warm welcome. Our students have been great with saying hello, handshakes, fist bumps and hugs. I love that!

I am looking forward to a great end of the year together.

Johnson Cheerleading

The tradition of excellence and opportunity continues…


The Johnson Cheerleading program consists of a Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity cheerleading squad. The primary purpose of the program is to create and support school spirit. The cheerleaders help facilitate spirit by cheering at various athletic events throughout the year, organizing and hosting pep rallies, participating in community related events, and other spirit activities during the year. In addition to being a successful spirit organization, Johnson cheerleading is also a highly competitive program. The Johnson cheerleaders attend three to four Texas cheerleading competitions during the year, and in February, they attend the UCA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Johnson Cheerleading Program or would like additional information:

There will be a mandatory information meeting for all students/parents interested in tryouts for the Lady Bird Johnson High School Cheer Team, Mascot, Drill Team, or Dance Team on Tuesday, February 16th 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Johnson High School Cafeteria.

Johnson Cheerleader Tryout Eligibility:

-Current 8th graders are eligible for the Freshman cheerleading squad.

-Current 9th graders are eligible for the Junior Varsity cheerleading squad.

-Current 10th graders are eligible for the Junior Varsity & Varsity cheerleading squads.

-Current 11th graders are eligible for the Junior Varsity & Varsity cheerleading squads.
