Oh January!

Dear parents and guardians,

We are certainly rolling into the long portion of winter, as noted in the photo above.

Mother Teresa said, "We are here to be witnesses of love and to celebrate life, because life has been created in the image of God. Life is to love and to be loved." Inspired by love, we are grateful that our school is warm and humming with activity. From Newton's Law & "Fractions at the Bakery" to basketball & 3D Printing, our hearts are full.

January also brings our Open House! Research shows that the best marketing tool is word of mouth.

Please do a couple of the following to promote our Open House:

1. Share our announcement on your FB page.

2. Tell your friends who are unhappy with their child's school to check us out. If they say they can't make Open House, have them call me for "an intimate tour with the principal."

3. Print the attached flyer and hang it up in your business or at your job. Write "Questions? See me." and your name on it so people know who to talk to.

We know what an awesome school we are AND we need to get the word out to our community!

Thanks for your support!

Today in 4th grade

Fourth grade is learning the Beatitudes and how to be a blessing to others. This week they worked on creating a small gift of a paper flower along with a card filled with kind words. Friday morning, the class walked over to deliver to a stranger. One woman stated, "I will remember this forever. I am putting it on my desk as soon as I get in!" Watching the students face light up, was a blessing for Ms. Carr. Teaching them to be the light in the world was the focus of the lesson. Be on the lookout for continued blessings throughout the month.
