Monday - 3/8/2021

Good Morning Stilwell students and families,

With the warmer weather, we would like to remind everyone of our pick-up/drop-off protocol. Please make sure you are not dropping your student off on Vine Street.

Below you will see a link to our ISASP testing schedule. We will begin testing in April and our on-site and online learners will be testing on different days.

We would like to remind you of some important upcoming dates.

  • Mar 12 - No School
  • Mar 15-19 - Spring Break

Parking Lot Protocol

We understand our parking lot drop-off and pick-up process can be time-consuming. However, we need all families to follow the procedures to ensure our students are safe. Please remember these guidelines:

  • Do not use the local business as a place to pick-up your child.
  • Do not drop off your student or stop for any reason along Vine Street.
  • Do not pull into the bus lanes along Vine Street.
  • Do not allow your student to exit the vehicle until you have pulled up to the curb in the parking lot.
  • Please drive slowly through the parking lot and on Vine St.

Student Council Announcement: Pennies for Patients

The Stilwell Student Council has chosen to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as their fundraiser for the 3rd Quarter. To help promote this month-long event we are having each Tiger Time on the 6 teams (T.I.G.E.R.S.) compete against each other to see who can raise the most money. Due to our current situation with Covid-19 we will be hosting this event entirely online until March 31st. To find your student's Tiger Time homepage use the following link and search for their teacher in the bottom left-hand corner. Thank you for your support!

Reminder for In-Person Students

If your student is signed up this semester to be an “in-person” learner, your student cannot choose to learn “online” due to convenience, illness, or weather unless the district determines that we all move to online learning for that day. Students will be counted absent and will need a parent call to excuse.

This should be done in the usual way through our attendance line at 633-6000. You may leave a message 24 hours a day and we ask that you give your student’s name, student ID number, and what grade they are in so we may update their attendance. Thank you!

This week will be focusing on appropriate mask-wearing in the halls and classrooms. Please make sure to have both your nose and mouth covered. Teachers will be recognizing students with PBIS reward points.

After the Bell

After the bell is an additional opportunity at the end of the day to get support with learning from a certified teacher. It will start on Tuesday, September 8th in the Stilwell cafeteria. Students will receive an additional snack using social distancing and are welcome to stay until 4:00 pm. After the bell will run each week Monday-Thursday. For more information please contact Mr. Peter Bissinger at

Stilwell Student Handbook 20-21

Throughout this year you may have questions, need clarifications, or might need to see who you can turn to for help. Please start with the Junior High Schools Handbook.
