A Message from Mrs. Katkocin ❤️
Dear Scotland Families,
Happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend! It has taken us just about a week to count all the money you collected during the Fifth-Grade’s Change for Change fundraiser. It was an exciting and successful fundraiser. Congratulations to our students!! Our school raised a total of $5526.49 to build a well in South Sudan! This is simply incredible! Every class did a fantastic job, and we want to thank each of you for your help getting us closer to our $15,000 goal.
Taking the win for overall points goes to the fifth-graders in Mrs. Pasquarella’s classroom. The class with the most money collected in their jar, totaling a whopping $905.02, a big congratulation and thank you goes to Mrs. Lucchesi’s fourth graders.
Between our Bottles to Beauty Art Night and our Change for Change fundraiser, we are just about halfway to our goal. Thank you to the Grandview Drive Neighbors for the $185 donation to Water for South Sudan. Thank you for the entrepreneurship to sell PALM Bracelets totaling $100 and for donating to Water for South Sudan - those involved were Poppy P, Alex M, Liliana C, Lily S, and Millie P. Thank you, all for your incredible donations and support!
We are currently in the midst of our Scotty Math-a-thon! We have been recognizing winners throughout the week! Don't forget, the Scotty Math-a-thon runs through Friday, April 8th!
