Talk Saves Lives presentation in the auditorium.
Come out during A or B Lunch and learn how just being there for someone can make a world of difference in their life. While you’re there, be sure to enter our raffle for giveaways!

- NHS Induction Ceremony, Auditorium @ 6:30pm
- Wrestling Duals v/s Northern, Home, V @ 5:30pm, JV @ 6:30pm
- The Navey recruiter will be available during lunch.
- The Army recruiter will be available during lunch.
Wednesday, December 6
- Girls Basketball v/s Glen Burnie, Home, JV @ 4:30, V @ 6:00pm.
- Swim Meet v/s North Point, Away @ 5:00pm.
- Winter Chorus and Orchestra Concert, Auditorium @ 6:30pm.
- ASVAB will be administered in the Auxiliary Gym beginning at 8:00am.
- Frostburg State will be available in the College and Career Center during lunch.

Tues 12/5: The Cove (table outside cafeteria)
Need a safe, fun place to go to hang out, talk about your stressors, get tutoring, and meet new people? Stop by the Cove’s table in the cafeteria to get more information on what they have to offer!
Coloring Book Club (A Lunch in Ms. Brice’s Room; E39)
Stop by Ms. Brice’s room to make your own coloring book masterpieces!
Puzzle Club (A or B Lunch in Ms. Osburn’s Room; C03)
Engage your brain and get that feeling of accomplishment when the puzzle is solved!
Wed 12/6: Grief Group with Hospice (A & B Lunch; Room F05)
For students who are dealing with the loss of a friend or relative, come to Room F05, where a representative from Hospice will be on hand to listen, support, and share resources to help.
Walking the track with Ms. Neitz
Looking for a healthy way to cope with stress? Go for a walk! Mrs. Neitz will be out at the track to walk and talk with students wanting a break from the rigors of schoolwork.
Thurs 12/7: St. Mary’s County Health Dept. Drug Misuse Prevention (table outside cafeteria)
Learn the dangers of drug use and the connection between drug/alcohol use and mental health struggles.
Motivational Speaker- Alisa Casas
Get inspired with Alisa as she talks about “Just being you”. Your level of self-confidence can show in many ways: your behavior, your body language, how you speak, and what you say. Self-confidence increases through experiences. Come to F05 during A and B lunch to see her presentation.
Suicide Prevention Presentation and Panel Discussion at the Tech Center
From 6:00-7:30, SMCPS will hold an encore presentation of the Talk Saves Lives program and a panel of representatives from the mental health and education field will conduct a discussion on the supports available in the community.
Friday 12/8: ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION Presentation
Chris Shea from Life’s Journey Life Coaching is a dynamic and enthusiastic speaker that specializes in counseling. He will help guide you on a path to personal improvement, stress reaction and reduction techniques, and mindfulness. Come to Room F-05 during A or B Lunch to see his presentation.
Disc Golf with Ms. Honis
What better way to unwind and get ready for the weekend than to get outside and play some Disc Golf! Meet out at the track to join the fun!
Creative Writing Club (A Lunch in Ms. Palmer’s Room; 2E07)
We all have a story to share! Come to Ms. Palmer’s room to put your thoughts on paper and make your own literary work of art!
Mindfulness/Meditation Club (B Lunch in Ms. John’s Room; 2E11)
Turn off and disconnect from the distractions of life in Ms. John’s room. You’ll feel better after a great reset!
