  • Usernames and passwords for KITE “practice tests” are included in the attachment KITE Client Practice Tests.pdf

KS Assessments – Reminders

  1. Students will have to take a break of approximately 10 minutes between each test part on the ELA and Mathematics tests while CETE runs an algorithm to correctly select the student’s next test part.
  2. The Spring test window for ELA / Math / HG / Science has been extended until May 12 to take into account the need for 10-minute breaks between test parts.

Test Windows

  • February 16 to March 10 – MDPT and Math Performance Task
  • March 16 to May 12 – ELA / Math / HG / Science

Out and about...

Thank you for taking time to review classroom and building wide procedures and routines this week. It was fun to see how creative your kids got with using the iPads to take videos, make movie trailers, and using picCollage to help them review those expectations and share it with others.

I realize some of our schedules our very tight and trying to get restroom breaks in before a special is difficult. Please make sure your entire class arrives at the same time. This prevents stragglers and lets the teacher know who is present.

Love this exit slip!

Apple Trainers are coming to Black Bob!

On Feb 1 and 2, we will have the opportunity to have our very own Apple Trainers in our building to walk thru ALL of our classrooms, help us learn about effective independent work with iPads, meet with teachers, specialists, SpEd teachers, grade levels, and give professional development. Be thinking of what could help you the most. Our "plan" to give them is due ASAP, so if you have ideas, send them my way. I do expect each grade level to have time with them during at least 1 plan time. This can take place of your PLC time.

Have a great week!
