A Note from Mrs. Johansen
Dear Sandburg Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend!
As the first quarter comes to an end, please be sure you are checking Infinite Campus to make sure you're aware of your child's progress and current grades in each class. I've encouraged staff to reach out to parents about students earning Ds and Us in classes. Also, I encourage parents to reach out to staff, if you have questions or would like ways to support your child in their classes. A staff list with emails and phone number is linked HERE. It's also available on the CSJH website.
Starting October 17th, we will have After School Academic Support available every Monday thru Thursday in the library. Students will be able to stay after school to get help from a Sandburg staff member. This after school support will run until April. Students who stay after school will be in the library from 2:20-3:50 and can take the activity bus home. If you would like to have your child stay after school for additional support, this opportunity is open to ALL students.
Additionally, we run a Lunch Time Study Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students can work quietly on school work during the lunch period with a Sandburg Staff member. Students sign themselves up for this study hall through a google form that is posted in the Wildcat Google Classroom.
Congratulations to the Sandburg athletes who have participated in our Fall Sports: Cross Country, Girls Basketball, and Boys Soccer. Information about registration for Boys Basketball was sent out to parents last week. For more information please check out the Sandburg Sports Website.
Have a great week!
Erika Johansen
Sandburg Principal

We are very excited to host our Fall Festival on Friday, October 28th. More information will come out shortly about this event. Stay tuned!
Please consider joining (and sponsoring) the PTSA! CSJH only receives $0.50 for each membership, but joining at the White, Red, or Wildcat Sponsor levels provides a direct donation to our school and will reduce the amount of fundraising required throughout the year. You are not obligated to volunteer or attend monthly meetings by joining the PTSA. You are simply supporting your child’s school and CSJH PTSA. Click here to sign up!
