Principal Message Week of November 1st
* There are 2 weeks left until the end of the 1st trimester. The last day of Trimester 1 is Nov 12, 2021.
Happy Halloween everyone. I hope you had a joyful weekend and we look forward to seeing you Monday.
Last week was an eventful week. We canceled school at 6:30 am on Monday but then rebounded with a great rest of the week. I would like to thank are PTO and our student council for helping us organize activity for spirt week and all the students and staff for participating. We still need to make-up crazy hair day though!
Some things for this week:
Redwood city School District Climate Survey
Each year RCSD sends out a survey to staff, students and families. Schools use these surveys to get the perspectives of the schools different stake holders and then to address the their input by incorporating it into our school plans for student achievement. The Window opens Monday November 1st and closes November 12th.
Parent Teacher Conferences:
Fall Parent teacher conferences will be November 22-23. These conferences will be virtual and on google meet. All families will be receiving schedules to sign-up the week of 15th. Some families will receive notification a little earlier.

Weather Possible Rain Monday and Thursday:
Below is a quick review of our school procedures for rain during recess and lunch as well as before school. This was also shared with students last week and they will be reminded during daily announcements this week.
Please make sure you’re sending your students with coats, proper shoes, and umbrellas.
Our gates open at 8 am and we must ask students if the wellness form was completed prior to coming onto campus. Students cannot be allowed on campus until that happens and we have no staff available to supervise students prior to 8 am. Please note that students who arrive prior to 8 am will have to wait in line until our gates open.
If it rains during school recess and lunch recess, students will have three options:
Lunch Shelter
Gym
B-Quad under the overhangs
Yearbook
The Yearbook Club has begun. You can order your yearbook now. Books are $35 and the link is provided below.
