The CPU

(Central Prossesing Unit)

What does it do?

The CPU is the 'brain' of the computer. The CPU sends commands, or Inputs and Outputs, controlling what the computer does. Whether it is pressing a button or loading a screen, the CPU sends commands to do it.

Why do we need it?

Without the CPU, any computer would cease to function, like how a human can't function without a brain. The CPU controls everything, thus proving that the CPU is essential to any modern computer
