Subject: Free Rapid Antigen and PCR Testing!
Hello, Our Lady of the Rosary School, Parents, and Staff!
We are proud to announce that we will begin offering COVID-19 testing on site. This testing
is through Primary. Health and starts soon. To get started, please pre-register for testing by
clicking this link: https://my.primary.health/r/oltrcatholicschool?registration_type=student
You only need to register once and complete a Consent Form. This Consent Form will be good for 1 year. The test will take no longer than 15 minutes.
Please note this program is free for all participants. Testing is not required but highly encouraged.
The school testing program and hours of operation for testing will begin on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The testing will be conducted every Wednesday between 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.
If your child’s results are positive, they will be isolated from others, and the parents will be called to pick them up as soon as possible.

State school worker vaccinate-or-test mandate information for staff and volunteers
Dear school volunteers,
Attached please find a letter to all ADLA school workers – employees and volunteers, regarding the state’s mandate to demonstrate proof of vaccine, or test weekly by October 15th. The Archdiocese is complying with this health order and all paid and unpaid workers (see letter for definition) are subject to this requirement.
This letter has been distributed to all staff members and volunteers on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Parents: Since you are a parent volunteer you are welcome to come and test on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:00. Please be patient because the students' testing will come first. Please register using the following link:

Our annual spooky event will take place on Friday, October 22 from 5:00-6:30 pm and then the trunk or treat from 6:30-7:30 pm. Please use this form to place your to-go spaghetti plate order and save money by preordering the food. Food Orders will go toward the Special Event Dinner Tickets. You need to place a minimum of $50.00. Individual plates will be sold at the event but not placed through this form. The Tickets will be given at the door. The cost of the plates will go up on the day of the event.

Spooky Event Volunteer Information for Fri, Oct. 22, 2021
To the 7th and 8th grade parents:
Your child’s class is assigned to host our annual Halloween fundraising event. As hosts, you are asked to provide supplies and to work during this Special Event which will be held on October 22, 2021, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., and then the Trunk and Treat from 6:30-7:30 pm. We are asking for a donation of $15.00 to buy the food and paper goods needed for the event. Please send the money and this slip by October 8th.

· The hours completed during this event will go towards your service hours.

Covid-19 Testing Frequently Asked Questions
It will be open for everyone but it will require consent from parents a link will be sent to all parents.
Is the testing the saliva or the nasal swab?
Rapid Antigen Shallow nasal swab test. We will know the results in 15 minutes. If it is positive they will use PCR to confirm the results and it will take 24 hours to know the results.
Who will be administering the test?
Heluna Health will be providing the staff.
If a student is vaccinated do they need to be tested weekly?
Only if they are in close contact with someone who tested positive.

Please see information below about no-cost COVID-19 testing at local health centers and select pharmacies.
The COVID-19 testing sites on the LA County COVID-19 Testing website offer no-cost (free) testing.
The City of Los Angeles also offers free COVID-19 testing.
U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) has also partnered with pharmacies and retail companies to accelerate testing for more Americans in communities across the country (HHS website)
These companies are coordinating with state and local governments to:
- Provide Americans with faster, less invasive and more convenient testing
- Protect healthcare personnel by eliminating direct-contact with symptomatic individuals
- Expand testing to communities across the United States, especially those that are under-tested and socially vulnerable
