It's Time For Texoma Gives!

Save the date for Texoma Gives! Texoma Gives will be held on September 7, 2023. This is an opportunity for community members to donate to the WFISD Foundation for teacher IDEA Grants. All funds raised through Texoma Gives will be awarded to WFISD teachers through the 2023 IDEA grant program. Last year, the WFISD Foundation awarded more that $18,000 in IDEA Grants. Apple Watch Giveaway

Only two days left to be entered into a drawing for an Apple watch through the WFISD Foundation! All funds raised through the Employee Giving Campaign will be awarded to WFISD teachers through the 2023 IDEA Grant program. Last year, the WFISD Foundation awarded more than $18,000 in IDEA Grants.


All employees who donate $100 or more one time OR donates $12 a month will be entered into a drawing for an Apple watch. Please make your contribution by September 1 in order to be eligible for the drawing.


There are two easy ways to give to the campaign!

1. Online through the WFISD Foundation's donation website OR

2. Payroll deduction


To make your contribution through the donation website, click here. You can chose to do a one-time gift or a monthly recurring gift.


To make your contribution through payroll deduction, click here. Payroll deductions will be monthly beginning with the September 2023 paycheck and will run 12 months (through August 2024).

Community Members Volunteer Their Time To Speak During The Summer Reading Program

Thank you to the following community partners who volunteered their time and resources to come speak to WFISD students during our Summer Reading Program. We are beyond grateful for your time and support! Project Back to School

WFISD was excited to be a part of 2023 Project Back to School! Community members from all over Wichita Falls came together to make this event happen. Local businesses and organizations donate funds each year to Project Back to School. Backpacks are then filled with school supplies and provided to students who need them. Project Back to School is a community program created to provide disadvantaged children with school supplies, backpacks and more to prepare them for the new school year.

Four Stars Auto Ranch Fills Campus Needs For The Third Year In A Row

Thanks to Four Stars Auto Ranch, campuses are receiving funds to purchase a variety of campus needs. Our first nine campuses have already received their items. Campus needs items ranged from pencils, pencil grips and ear buds to candy, dry erase markers, and paper towels. Thank you again to Four Stars Auto Ranch for the support. Sheppard Air Force Base Volunteers at Sheppard Elementary

Pictured below are Sheppard Air Force Base volunteers who helped at Sheppard Elementary during the month of July to help finish some paint projects and help the campus get ready for the new school year.
