From the Principal:
Next week, our Kindergarten through Second Grade students will take their end of the year benchmarks in reading and math. On Tuesday and Wednesday, their classrooms will not allow visitors, in order that their students can focus and give their assessments their best effort. Look for more information from your child's teacher on these testing days.
Thank you for working with your child to finish the 18-19 school year in a strong way! We can do it!
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Shepherd
STAAR Motivational Posters:
Leader Profile:
This week’s Leader Profile attribute is Goal Oriented.
When you are ready for life, you focus on a particular goal and the tasks that are needed to achieve that goal. You think about who you want to be, what you want to be known for, what is meaningful to you, and what you can achieve. You are always thinking about what steps you can take to get you closer to your end goal. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, goal oriented.
This week’s “I will” statement is: “I will be goal oriented by planning ahead and having realistic expectations.”
