June 2: Materials Pick-Up/Drop-off from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Dear Parents and Families,
On Tuesday, June 2, 2020, Ebinport Elementary School will be collecting materials sent home with students as part of our end of year procedures. The collection site will be open from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM. In addition to collecting materials, we will be giving students a bag with any of their personal belongings left at school inside. Materials to be returned to the school include guided reading books, library books, classroom books belonging to teachers, and any other supplies or materials students were given to use while at home, excluding laptops for students in grades 3-5. Laptops for students in grades 3-5 will remain with students until we return to school in the fall unless students are leaving the district. If students are leaving the district, laptops should be returned to the school with other materials on June 2.
Material collection and personal belonging distribution will be a 2 step process on June 2. First, parents will pull through the carline. At the front of the building there will be bins clearly labeled for materials that need to be returned to the school. There will be staff members posted here to help navigate this area. After this, parents should pull through the bus loop to collect students personal belongings.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kelsey, Principal

STEAM Art Challenge: Tie Dye Tee
Eagle Artists, are you ready for your final art challenge?! This STEAM challenge will have you combining your science, art and math skills as you create a tie dye tee! The use of dye to color fabric has occurred throughout history for hundreds of years, and has strong ties to South Carolina's history through the dye made from indigo crops.
Fold, wrap, and add dye to your t-shirt, then watch as the colors mix and blend. Every tie-dyed shirt is unique, just like YOU!
Remember, next week is our Virtual Field Day! Since we do not have official school field day shirts this year, you can wear your Tie Dye Tee as your Field Day shirt! Remember to share a photo with us to celebrate your success!
