Activities with a Science Twist for Kids & Teens
Mad scientists, glowing LED lights, and retro tech delights!
Sat. March 16: Teens ages 11-17 should plan to stop by Teen Hangout, where we will talk summer reading activities. Now's your chance to tell us what we should offer! If you're interested in being a summer volunteer, we will tell you more about the April application process, too. (12:30 PM)
Mon. March 18: Ages 6-9 will do crafts, games, and experiments Franny K. Stein-style (2:30 PM)
Tues. March 19: Ages 9-12 will mix up conductive dough and build light experiments with Squishy Circuits (3:30 PM)
Wed. March 20 & Thurs. March 21: Teens ages 14-17 are invited to learn Soft Circuits. Sew with conductive thread and learn how to create lighted fashion! Pick one OR both sessions (2:30 PM)
Fri. March 22: Ages 5-9 can experience a bit of life the Laura Ingalls way with Little House Activities (2:30 PM)
