He was a militaristic king

Born 1712, died 1769.

Reined from the 37th of May, 1740, to the 17th of August, 1768. He was 28 when he inherited the throne.

His goal was to unite Prussia.

His political views

Although he was a king he was very fair and his ideas were benefiting all. So his system is not very based on social classes.

He changed the punishments to be less harsh, for example he made the death sentence only legal with his permission, and abolished torture.

He wanted freedom of religion.

He disliked the polish.

He had put in better infrastructure


Education was ENFORCED by frederick the great. Even peasants got an education. Thats pretty odd for a ruler but it helped the lower class get to middle or upper class.
