Normandy Thanksgiving Break Extended, No School Nov. 22-26
The Normandy Joint Executive Governing Board approved our recommendation to extend the district’s Thanksgiving break by two additional days, giving students and staff the full week off (Nov. 22-26).
"Educators nationwide are experiencing extraordinary levels of stress and exhaustion due to high demands and unfortunately we’re seeing similar situations in Normandy," said Marcus C. Robinson, Normandy Superintendent of Schools. "Returning to buildings after more than a year away, we're also seeing signs of stress in our students as well. To be our best selves, sometimes we need to take time off to rest, relax and recharge. Enjoy your time off and please have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday."
Classes will resume on Monday, November 29. Have a great Thanksgiving Break!
