BARBER BULLETIN

Week of February 8-12

A Pontiac family needs our help!

One of our Parrot families needs our thoughts, compassion and support. The Wilson Family (Carl, Deaysia and formally Destiny) have been apart of our school family for a number of years. In the beginning of January their brother, 17 years old, was in a severe car accident in which he was placed on life support. He experienced a collapsed lung, numerous broken ribs and a break in his skull; near his spine/neck that has required transfer from Richland Memorial to Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The transfer was necessary because of the need for pediatric Neurosurgeons not available at Richland Memorial. The family is in severe need, including monetary funds for food, shelter and travel to/from the brother.

How can you help?

The great news is for $1 a DAY for the week of 2/8-2/12 you can wear jeans! Who doesn't LOVE jeans?! And all proceeds will be given to the family in the form of a gas and/or grocery gift card.

There will be an envelope in the front office with Mrs. Khouri. If you feel inclined, and wish to wear jeans next week to support this family, please place $1 in the envelope each day (or $5 for the week). Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers for this family!
