Midland Trail Elementary School

~ We Believe & Achieve In Order to Succeed ~

November 2019

The weather is changing. It's the time of year to pay attention to local weather stations to not only make sure students are dressed appropriately but to find out if school is cancelled.

  • Recess: Students will be sent to recess unless percipitation is present for temperatures are below 21 degrees farenheit.
  • Inclement Weather: Procedures for Two-Hour Delay and School Closings were sent to all families last week.

Highlights

  • BOOST! Each year Midland Trail has an after-school tutoring program that focuses on teaching and re-teaching missing reading and math skills. This is geared towards students in grades 3-5. We currently have __ students receiving additional support after school three days per week.

  • New Life Church has been offering support to Midland Trail for a few years now. They have provided us with financial support to purchase needed items, food for our Family Events and snacks for students who stay after for Clubs. This is a wonderful support for our school. If any of you are members of New Life Church, THANK YOU for supporting MTE!
  • Halloween Parade and Parties were a huge success. It was great seeing so many families at school. Thank you to every parents that sent in treats for classrooms.
