Fall & Winter - 2014
Hello Nebraska Common Sense Media Educators -
Hello & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
One-half of the 2014-2015 school year is nearly past us and Nebraska schools and educators are continuing to show their commitment to using technology effectively and empowering their students to use it responsibly and safely.
In fact, over 90% of ALL Nebraska Schools are registered users on the Common Sense website! Several ESUs have hosted all day workshops, many districts and schools are designing digital citizenship implementation strategies, and multiple educators and schools are on their way to meeting the criteria to become Common Sense Digital Citizenship or Graphite Certified. KUDOS to Heather Callihan, Grand Island Northwest: Nebraska's 1st educator to have BOTH the Certified Digital Citizenship Educator & Graphite Certified Educator!
