Muraski STAFF Memo
6/4/18 :
From the desk of Mrs. J. Peters, Principal Muraski Elementary School
Becky Hopp - K Teacher at Whitney has found something great to use in her classroom.
I'm stealing her idea for our classrooms!
A UDL thoughts to begin with next year...
Thinking ahead!

6/6 - 5th Grade Memories Program
6/6 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
It's time to show our SHINY MOMENTS from Muraski...I have already submitted many things that we have done. Please take some time to feature yourself or others from our building:
From Cameron: In my job I have the unique opportunity to see the work that is being completed by our staff across the entire district. I see our staff putting in the effort to be creative, to try something new, to be strategic risk takers, and to push beyond the routine to create a premier educational environment and experience for our students. Over the past few years, we have tried to highlight some of this work through our Mustang Moments and 60-Seconds with the Superintendent. Yet, we know there is more going on in the departments and buildings and we want to hear from you. No idea is too small or not “innovative” enough. We all learn from each other and we have many experts in our midst. Whether it be a cool lesson, a new project for summer cleaning, an idea to get kids to be great passengers on the bus ride home, or a building goal that has been achieved, please click HERE to share it or to share on behalf of your colleagues. Let’s work together to move beyond our classroom, office, and/or department and learn and grow together.
Enjoy your week,
Mrs. J. Peters

Things to do this week...
Tina should have your class lists!
Make sure RIMPS are up to date and place in student file.
MORE TO DO...before the final day!
As we discussed in our GLM, 1st grade will pass students’ whiteboards up to the 2nd grade teachers (unless 2nd grade teachers don’t need them). These can then be taken home by students at the end of 2nd grade.
Likewise, 1st and 2nd grade teachers should pass up to the following year’s teachers “Words I Use When I Write” and “More Words I Use When I Write”.
K-5 NSGRA Levels (Erin) and K-8 Consumables
Please make sure you are using the END OF YEAR (May-June) Instructional Levels (last column on this sheet).
Consumables K-8 should be filled in before leaving for the summer for teachers.
