Focus Skill: identify sequence of events
Writing:
We are working on publishing our autobiographies. Thank you to those of you who had your kiddos get on and conference with me this weekend! If they would like a conference Mon/Tues evenings, we can try to set up a time then as well! Mid-week, we will move on to writing about what we want to be when we grow up.
Spelling:
They will not have a spelling list this week, instead the have a vocabulary list. We want to ensure their understanding of these important academic vocabulary words!! They can practice them in a variety of ways on Quizlet-Click here
Math:
Focus skills: fractions
I post links on our Google Classroom that will help reinforce these skills at home :). Your child should know how to log on.
Science:
Scientific Process-They will have a test on Thursday, October 20.
Social Studies:

Kindergarten is collecting cereal boxes which will be sent to Haiti for the women to create beautiful jewelry.

First grade is collecting old, dried up markers (any brand). These will be sent to Crayola and they will met them down and turn them into fuel!!
