Holmquist Elementary E-Colors Student Champions Meet Co-Founder of Equilibria, Lewis M. Senior (Y/R)

Principal Kimberly Toney (R/B) had a clear vision as to how she wanted to implement E-Colors and Personal Intervention at the campus she leads. Holmquist Elementary located in Alief ISD (Houston, TX) is home to almost 1200 students in Pre-Kindergarten to grade 4. The task was grandiose but not one that her teachers and student champions would fail.

Student Champions at Holmquist trained for two months and within that time period prepared a presentation to impart with peers, as well as co-founder of Equilibria, Lewis M. Senior. The purpose of the presentations was to teach about the self-awareness they had gained from their reflective experiences and trainings.

Take a moment to look at a 28-second video where student champions are teaching their peers about the Basic Concepts of the E-Colors Brain. The video is featured on the front page of our website: http://www.ecolorsineducation.org

We'd like to thank the ESL Lead teacher and resident E-Colors Coach, Diana Cavazos (R/Y) for her commitment to developing young minds. Also, teacher Mrs. Sanchez has played an integral part in the implementation of the various concepts. We are grateful for the opportunities you are affording students. Leadership matters and you have intentionally found ways to involve students to become more cognizant of their learning and understanding of the world around them.
