A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School

Andrea Conner, BHS Principal

Hello Bulldog Families.

This week, students at Batavia High School wrapped up the first quarter, took the PSAT, participated in speed mentoring in partnership with The Clermont County Chamber, and were treated to a stunning double rainbow on Thursday morning. We certainly hope you had a chance to catch the same view we did!

Many of our students and teachers spent this week focusing on turning in those final assignments and taking those last unit assessments. Even though the week was short for our students, it certainly was a busy one.

Our teachers are engaging in professional learning sessions today where they will be reviewing the results of the Restart Readiness Assessment that many of our students took as a practice for state assessments. This process is important because our teachers will be able to make instructional adjustments to meet the needs of our students. Our teachers appreciate the opportunity to engage in this collaboration during the designated professional learning times.

We hope our students enjoy the long weekend and that all of you get a chance to enjoy the changing leaves.

In service to our Bulldogs.
