Bryant Blizzard News

January 10, 2019

Bryant Elementary is proud to be a Title 1 School!

What does that mean? Title 1, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) provides financial assistance to states and school districts to meet the needs of academically at-risk students. The goal of Title 1 is to provide extra instructional services, resources, and activities that support students who are identified as those who would benefit from Title 1 services the most in order to meet the state's challenging performance standards in mathematics, reading, and writing. Find more information about Wisconsin Title 1 here.

At Home Academics - All About Reading!

Why Read Aloud?

There are so many reasons why reading aloud with your child is a benefit. Click on the document below for reasons why 15 minutes a day will make a big difference.

Listen and Learn with Audio Books

Audio books are a wonderful way to expose your child to complex language, expressive reading, and fantastic stories. Listening to audio books also gives kids the valuable and enjoyable experience of using their own imaginations to visualize the people and places they’re hearing about. Though popular with many families during long car trips, audio books are a great way to experience stories anytime, anywhere.

Superior Public Library

Does your child have a library card? Our public library is a great place to explore and nourish the love of reading. They are newly remodeled, have extended book and material check-out for children, and also have so many fun activities and programs in their children's corner. Check out more here.
