Geography

Afghanistan is a closed border asian country mostly made out of rugged mountains, though there are some plains in the north and southwest. Some natural disasters include earthquakes near the Hindu Kush mountains, floods, and droughts.

Their main language is Pashto, one of their main foods is Afgan cuisine, their religion is Islamic, woman are clothed head to toe while men wear long sleeve shirts, and pants.

Government

Their government is a presidential system, their leader is Mohammad Ashraf Ghani. The capital is Kabul.

Economy

They mainly export oil, and carpets are made in factories. They are 60% agricultural, they grow many fruits and vegetables.

Animals

Afghanistan's national animal is the Snow Leopard, a large cat native to south areas of Asia.

Health

In 2002, only 9 percent of Afghans lived within a one-hour walk of a health facility. Now, more than 57 percent of the population lives in that area.
