Fox Family Focus
Week of January 2, 2022
Greetings Fox Families!
This is Anita Roane, your principal with this week’s announcements and reminders. I hope everyone enjoyed their Winter Vacation with family friends.
The Foxy Focus for January is Responsibility
The students hear the following statement on the announcements each morning and are encouraged to incorporate it into their daily habits.
Responsibility means taking charge of and being accountable for your words and actions. Each of us is held responsible for our behavior, so when things go wrong, we admit our mistakes instead of denying what happened or blaming others. It also includes making sure our different duties as students are completed in a timely manner.
Here are our Spelling Bee winners for this year:
1st: Johnetta Grooms
2nd: Olivia Tyndale
Alternate: Abbigale Hunt
1st: Kadence LaFontaine
2nd: Tianna Jennings
Alternate: Mia Quarles
1st: Anni Blair
2nd: Lydia Daughtrey
Alternate: Kendra Johnson
As our foxes return to school on Wednesday, please remember to perform the at-home health screenings. If your student is not feeling well or is exhibiting any COVID-related symptoms, please keep them home and notify the front office. We want to make sure everyone is returning to school safely.
Congratulations Jaxen Fleming!
