Hybrid Schedule

Hybrid Learning Schedule

South Hamilton CSD will transition to a hybrid learning schedule for the next two and a half weeks. This schedule will start on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, through Friday, October 2, 2020. Students will be placed into one of two groups — Group A and Group B — and will only attend in-person classes on their designated days. (Please select the hybrid groups below) Students who are not at school will have the opportunity to attend school online using Google Classroom / Google Meet or SeeSaw, complete work assigned, and can watch any recorded instructions.


This is not a decision the district takes lightly. We want our students to be in our classrooms every day. However, we must make this temporary shift to maintain health and safety for staff, students, and community members. It is important to note that the hybrid schedule could be extended if conditions do not improve.


Remote Learners

If you are a remote learner, please continue to log in every day on Google Classroom / Google Meet.


Student Activities

Students still can participate in activities and practice. Please contact the office if you have any questions or concerns.


Homecoming

We will be postponing Homecoming Activities until the week of October 5th. We wish to preserve homecoming activities while also balancing the need to implement virus mitigation strategies. Please be on the lookout for an announcement regarding homecoming in the future.


School Photos

We will not have the photos on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.

We will postpone school photos until October.


Lunch Program

Beginning Monday, September 14, 2020, ALL enrolled students (including remote

learners) will receive free reimbursable breakfast and lunch meals. The USDA has

approved the program to operate through December 31, 2020. We will continue

the operation of the program until that date or until all Federal funding has been

exhausted. This approval is not retroactive. Meals served from August 24th

through September 10th will be charged to your account.


To schedule a time to pick up meals for remote learners, please go to the school

website, under the Food Service tab, and click on “Virtual Learners” to complete the

google form on a daily basis.


I may sound like a broken record, but we again must ask for patience, grace, and flexibility of our entire community. COVID-19 has forced us to make difficult decisions each day. We appreciate the support we have received from everyone.
