Is Friar to blame?
Yes and hears why
Reason 1 Getting Married
Shakespeare writes, ¨ For thus alliance may so happy prove to turn your households rancor to pure love.¨(1.2.91-92)
Explanation
At the beginning of the story Romeo falls in love with Juliet and he wants to get married so he goes to Frair Laurence. Friar agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet thinking it will end the feud between the two families.
Reason 2 Giving Juliet the poison.
Shakespeare writes, ¨ Hold, then. Go home, be merry, give consent to marry Paris. Wednesday is tomorrow. Tomorrow night look that thou lie alone; let not the nurse lie with thee in thy chamber. Take thou this vial, being then in bed, And this distilling liquor drink thou off; when presently through all thy veins shall run a cold and drowsy humor; for no pulse shall keep this native progress, but surcease; no warmth, no breath, shall testify thou livest; the roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade to wanny ashes, thy eyes'windows fall like death when he shuts up the day of life; each part deprived of supple government. (4.1.89-102)
Explanation
Juliet finds out that Romeo killed her cousin Tybalt. She gets really sad at the fact that
romeo is going to be banished from the city. Juliets parents think that she is crying over Tybalts death so to cheer her up her mom says that she is going to get married to Paris. Not knowing what to do she goes to Friar Lawrence for some advise. He tells her to act like she is willing to get married to Paris, but that night she will drink this substance (That Friar hands her) and she will fall asleep. And when she falls asleep her body would go in a death like state.
Reason 3 Bad Plan
Shakespeare writes,
¨Take heed, take heed, for such die miserable.
Go, get thee to thy love, as was decreed,
Ascend her chamber, hence and comfort her:
But look thou stay not till the watch be set,
For then thou canst not pass to Mantua;
Where thou shalt live, till we can find a time
To blaze your marriage, reconcile your friends,
Beg pardon of the prince, and call thee back
With twenty hundred thousand times more joy
Than thou went'st forth in lamentation.
Go before, nurse: commend me to thy lady;
And bid her hasten all the house to bed,
Which heavy sorrow makes them apt unto:
Romeo is coming.¨(3.3.)
¨Take heed, take heed, for such die miserable.
Go, get thee to thy love, as was decreed,
Ascend her chamber, hence and comfort her:
But look thou stay not till the watch be set,
For then thou canst not pass to Mantua;

Explanation
Before Juliet drinks the vile Romeo gets banned from the city . And this is where we hear Friar give is plan. He gives the nurse a letter for Juliet to stay in her room because Romeo is coming, then they will sneak out of the city get married and come back and talk to the Capulet family.
What about Mercutio and Tybalt?
Some people may say ¨Well what did Friar have to do with Mercutio and Tybalts death?¨ Well actually Friar had nothing to do with Mercutios death Tybalt did kill mercutio but it was on accident. And Romeo would of revenged Mercutios death anyway becasue they were friends.
Why my reason is correct
My reason is correct because no one really could of stopped Tybalt.Tybalt killed Mercutio on accident same with Romeo. No one wanted anyone to die. Friar lawrence, Tybalt, Romeo or anyone had nothing to do with the fact that accidents happen.
