December JUMP Activities
What's going on with JUMP in December
This month we are...
This Sunday (Dec. 7) we will be meeting at 1 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Library in meeting room B. The Library opens at 1 p.m. so don't arrive too early! We'll be making some super easy Christmas ornaments together at the library, and then we'll follow each other to Willamsburg Healthcare where we will sing Christmas Carols for the residents and pass out the ornaments. We *should* be done by 2:30 - for those of you with mentees who are hoping to make it back in time for the Christmas parade, which starts at 2:30. One of our mentors, Mike Wilson, has agreed to accompany us on guitar and will make the songs in kid-friendly keys , so it should be a lot of fun! Please let me know if you are planning on coming!
This Thursday (Dec. 4th) The Vanity Theatre has invited the JUMP and Inspire programs to come and view the dress rehearsal of It's a Wonderful Life at 7 p.m. If you and your mentee are interested in attending this - please let me know so I can let The Vanity know how many of us to expect.
Please note that the Youth Service Bureau will be closed from December 24 - Jan.5. I will not be in the office from Dec. 19 - Jan. 5. I don't plan on going anywhere, so if you need to reach me during that time, please call or text me on my cell: 419-699-5656
I hope all of you have a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for all you have done this year for your mentee! YOU are making a difference!
