plaintiff against you?
If you obviously have a plaintiff on your hands and you need to be prepared for the court day that someone has out for you, you will need to know how to handle yourself.
You should have all your information and think of any questions that might come your way,and have a calm attitude. With you as our defendant we promise to try our best to help you win your case.
The plaintiff a difficult person?
When dealing with the plaintiff you have to be prepared for any statement he/she may have during the time.So we always say to think about anything at all that the plaintiff may have a complaint about, and during this complaints you may be summoned or the judge my summon you the him to show him information.
Making your statement
When making you statement you can do 1 of 2 things which is pleading and what that is is telling your side of the story and letting the judge get a fell for you.
A time and place for everything
If the Defendants answers the Complaint, the case will be scheduled for apre-trail conference. At the conference, the parties will meet with a judicial officer in an attempt to narrow the issues, determine the number of witnesses to be called, the length of the trial, and to discuss the possibility of settlement. But eventually the judge will make a mediation, but then again the use of an arbitrator to settle a dispute.(arbitration)
The process
the trial will be a long process but we hope in the end we can help you as much as you can.One thing that people should know while in a trail the greater weight of the evidence required in a civil (non-criminal) lawsuit for the trier of fact (jury or judge without a jury) to decide in favor of one side or the other. This preponderance is based on the more convincing evidence and its probable truth or accuracy, and not on the amount of evidence
Learning in the process
It is normal for some people to not know as much as they should about the court terminology like a verdict but it is pretty known but is a decision on a disputed issue in a civil or criminal case or an inquest. And last but not least the appeal, which is to make a serious or urgent request, typically to the public.
