~Life Before The~ ~Constitution~
By ~ Miuling Chang
~Life as a worker~
I am a shoemaker. I live in Manchester, New York. It is very hard to pay my debt because there is less money circulating make the dollar cost more than it really does. We can't rebel against the government because they won't let us even though that was one of the ideals that we fought in the war for. I have no property so i can't vote if the new constitution comes in charge so I don't know how I feel about the new constitution.
~Life as a southern Planter~
I am a tobacco planter. I own 30 Black slaves. I can pay my debts with the things a grow. I need to borrow money so I can buy more slaves, but the bank won't lend me money any more.
