DCPS Transportation Using IDs To Monitor Bus Use
DCPS Transportation Team is collecting data to determine an accurate number of students who ride district buses. To ensure the accuracy of this data, the district will be monitoring student usage of ID Badges to board on and off buses at several schools across the district, including Oceanway Middle.
This monitoring will take place between Friday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Feb. 9. As a reminder, the ID Badges do not have any tracking capabilities. It only notifies the district when a student scans it to board on and off the bus.
