Graphics Arts students learn skills at GraphittiHCC Graphic Arts Students spent a couple days printing FFA T-Shirts and working on the screen printing machines at Graphitti here in Mexico, MO. Nikki Leach, owner, invited the Graphic Arts classes to learn how to use her equipment and to experience the screen printing process from start to finish. This awesome opportunity gave the students a chance to use their skills in a true workshop environment. As a class, they want to thank Nikki and her staff for sharing their time and space!! We can't wait to go back! Pictured are: Allie Schambach, Peyton Guthrie, Katelyn Chrisman | Quote of the Week “Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.” — Viktor Frankl, Neurologist and psychiatrist. | Drawstring Backpacks needed Bright Futures need drawstring backpacks. Lots of them. Attached is a photo of what they look like. We would prefer that they NOT match. If you have any of these that you would like to donate, please take them to Dana at the Chamber or bring to me at the Central Office. |

Teachers - Use TalentEd for Transfer requests
Teachers -- it is nearly hiring season again and that means the possibilities for openings in the district. Below is the process you need to follow in regards to transfer requests to another teaching position.
Process: (Transfer requests are now done on TalentEd. No paperwork needs to be sent to the principal)
A. If an opening becomes available in your own building that you are interested in, you just need to talk to your principal about the process.
B. If an opening becomes available in a different building, then you need to fill out an internal application in TalentEd so that principal and Central Office know you have an interest.
There are no guarantees on transfer requests. Every situation is different and we will try to do what is best for kids in the long run. All openings will be handled on a case by case basis.
Please contact Bethany Collis if you have questions on filling out an internal application.
