YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION
Like many things in our current lives, the shipping of our yearbooks has been delayed. They have been ready in the plant for some time now, but the company has a back-logged shipping manifest due to the cascading impacts of supply chain issues.
There will be an announcement to all parents and students via Remind and ConnectEd when the books arrive at Loudoun Valley. The message will include pick-up details. We are predicting a pick-up date sometime during the week of June 27th. Stay tuned!
There are 10 books that remain unsold. Cost of the book is $90. You can buy one online or by cash or check at the school. Please email shari.adwers@lcps.org for additional information.
If you purchase now, you’ll receive a receipt so you can claim your book when they arrive. Here’s the link to purchase online. https://bit.ly/3uZPHSn

MEDICATION PICKUP
If your child has medication and/or medical supplies remaining in the health office, they need to be picked up by a parent/guardian. Emergency medications should remain in the office through the last day of school.
Please pick up medication/supplies on one of the following days:
- June 13 from 8:45-4:30
- June14 from 8:45-4:30
- June 15 from 8:45-4:30
- Per the Virginia Department of Education, medication CANNOT be stored over the summer.
- Medication WILL BE DISCARDED if not collected by the end of day on Thursday, June 16th.
Loudoun County Public Schools requires a new provider/physician orders each school year for the medication or specialized care which your child receives at school. If your child will continue to need medication or specialized health care at school, you and your child’s licensed healthcare provider must complete and sign the proper form(s). Please note that parents may not amend the provider’s order for managing the child’s medical condition.
The required forms are available in the health office at your child’s school or online at www.lcps.org. Click on the “Families” tab and the forms will be found under Medication at School. The forms should be returned, along with the appropriate medication, in the original, pharmacy labelled container, the week before school starts to the Loudoun County Public School that your child will be attending. Please refer to the “Medication at School Guidelines” for further information regarding medication at school.
